Can I legally share my data?
We made this guidance document to help you determine what you need to check.Additionally:
- You are responsible for ensuring the data can legally be shared. We only post the link to it.
- If the data comes from a master’s project, it is allowed as long as the student consents and GDPR rules are followed.
Not the data itself, links to data
- You have to upload your data elsewhere and make it public yourself, then provide a link here.

What counts as "relevant enough"?
It should be of relevance to the SCAF network. Generally, this means that the dataset aligns with the goals of the SCAF research community, supports ongoing studies, or provides useful insights for related projects.
Why should I upload?
Visibility on Search engines
Your dataset might be publicly accessible online, but not visible in search results. Our pages implement the Dataset schema (guide), as defined here: https://schema.org/Dataset. Once added, your dataset will be discoverable by Google.
Visibility to the SCAF network
Your dataset will stand out within the SCAF research network, making it easier for researchers to find and use relevant data.
